I am still relatively new to the world of Blu-Ray but I love it. The picture quality is just stunning.

The question I put to you is what blu-rays do I need to own.

Ones I can recommend are:

John Carpenter's The Thing - amazing transfer. Looks as if it was shot yesterday. Extras are great

WALL-E - Looks wonderful

Monsters Inc - The chase around the door factory is amazing

Star Trek - J J Abrams take on the classic never looked better and the documentaries on there are brill. ...

Common is B.A. and Chris Pine wants to be Murdoch

Do you think they are right for the part. I don't feel any of them are the best for the Team, but I can't think of anyone I'd really want to see play them.

Who do you want to see be The A-Team? Who should play Hannibal? Should they even make an A-Team film?

I vote this one for the next movie club film

Last Night: Set in Toronto at an unknown date, Last Night tells the story of how a variety of intersecting characters spend their final evening on Earth. It seems the world is to end at midnight (Eastern Standard Time) as the result of a calamity that is not explained, but which has been expected for several months. There are several scenes of an ominously glowing sun, which gets progressively larger and brighter even into the night.

10/10

Prolly the funniest Live Action series i have seen to date. It is filled with carzy and wonderfull characters, is self aware as

a series, fantastic humor and acting. Touches on a lot of topics, be it politics, personal, sexual, death, life aso.

I think it has something for everyone and is most deff. recommended.

Its a spinnof of The Practice, tho i have not seen it, and it didn't seem to matter.

Defying Gravity

7/10

Im a sucker for all series that is sci-fi, so when there is a new one, i grab it as quickly as i can.

This time i was surprised a bit, its very much like Virtuality, but its more normalized and romantic like.

Its basicly the same premise, bunch of people go on a long space journey, the people on the journey

don't know the truth why they are there, some wierd stuff happens aso. The casting is great, story

seems to work and the storytelling is pretty good ...

This was a disappointment for me. The period detail is fantastic, Depp and Cotillard are wonderful but after that it was a let down.

Although there were shots that equalled the beauty of Mann's usual films the horrid camerawork spoilt it. The constant close-ups and shakiness gave me a headache. Bale was ok but he's not exciting me any more as an actor. Next to Depp's charisma on-screen he pales.

I'm not sure if the scene near the end in the Chicago police station is factual. It seemed ...

The main contenders for the bid are shaping up to be Santa Clara-based Intel, Armonk-based IBM, and Sunnyvale-based AMD.

Speculation abounds as to AMD’s upper hand in the bid due to its shared geographic location and similar corporate culture.

Looks like we might have AMD to thank for Skynet ^^

V is one of my childhood favourites. I own it all on dvd. Even the latter parts that weren't all that good really. From the trailer I can't determine how I feel. I'm worried, not sure it needs a remake. If they do a Battlestar on it I'll be ecstatic.

I will go and see this but I'm very worried from the trailer. It seems like Bond set in a prior age. The sparks from a wheel, the jump into the Thames, the explosions, the female input, the fighting, the double-crossing, the sidekick's frustration with Bond (sorry Holmes).

It looks like an RDJ performance, maybe not Tony Stark but it's definitely in RDJ style.

Plus points - I usually enjoy watching RDJ (this may change if I blame him for trashing an iconic character), Mark Strong ...
