Re: Last DVD/Blu Ray you bought.
Just reading that list makes me want to buy it now. Are you sure you're not in the Warner Bros marketing department?
Re: Last DVD/Blu Ray you bought.
haha, no i'm not with any marketing department, i'm just really excited about this box, and got it alot cheaper, over here it's about 140 euros and i'm just very glad i got it so cheap. But i just might apply for a job at WB, because i almost got them one sale already!
I also got this today:
Let the Hitchcock collecting begin!
A question about that, i want to get into Hitchcock, but i don't know that much about his movies, I loved Psycho and Vertigo, what are some other good Hitchcock movies?

Re: Last DVD/Blu Ray you bought.
Without doubt you've got to buy North by Northwest Daan. It is quite simply one of the greatest films ever made, I know that is said about so many movies, but trust me, it is purely the most enjoyable film ever made. Everything about it is perfection, from Cary Grant's performance, to the writing, the action sequences, Bernard Herrmann's music, it cinema at is most brilliant, and while you're at it, The Birds as well is well worth buying. You'll never look at a children's park the same way again.
Re: Last DVD/Blu Ray you bought.
Thanks for the suggestions, i'll check my local stores to see if they have them, i asked my father about hitchcock movies, and he also suggested to watch The Birds.

A newspaper here had this special about the Coen Brothers, they released a collection book about the movies, you could buy it all at once, or buy 1 movie a week. This week i'm getting the last 2 movies. (true grit not included)
Some great info about the movies and some wonderful pictures in there aswell

Wow, pretty impressive stuff Daan, with the exception of True Grit, was it a complete collection?

Re: Last DVD/Blu Ray you bought.
Picked up a few for cheap at the local Kmart lately; DOG SOLDIERS on Blu-ray for $5 and HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME (the 1980 slasher starring LITTLE HOUSE ON THE PRAIRIE's Melissa Sue Anderson) also for $5. Also picked up GET CHRISTIE LOVE but it was so scratched up from sliding around in the case it won't play, but for $2 I'm not going to worry about taking it back.
Re: Last DVD/Blu Ray you bought.
That's the first time I've had one loose that was scratched so bad I couldn't polish it up and play it. I tried to find another one when I bought it but that was the only copy I saw there. Again...$2. No big loss.
Meanwhile, forgot I ordered IF LOOKS COULD KILL (the 1991 Richard Grieco flick) until it came in the mail yesterday.
