The Dark Knight or Barb Wire, Spider-Man 2 or 300, Hellboy or Iron Man?

Those or just a few of the many films based on comic books.

Out of all the different ones that have been made so far which one is your favourite?

I think I'm still going to have to go with THE ROCKETEER. Sure, it left out some of cooler bits of the comics like the Doc Savage cameos and Bettie Page but it captured their spirit and the 1930s pulp adventure sensibility perfectly. It's because of this movie that I have no problems with Joe Johnston doing the Captain America film.

I still feel like if it hadn't been released under the Disney banner and most especially hadn't been released right before TERMINATOR 2 it would've been more successful.

The Rocketeer was a lovely looking film and I wish it had done better at the box office. A real pulp adventure and a film I do love.

Joe Johnston's Captain America movie should have that wonderful period shine to it

I loved The Rocketeer, there's a real charm to that one. Hopefully Johnston will bring that touch to the Captain.

Personally I adore Tim Burton's Batman, I was five years old when it came out and was probably the first big blockbuster with the hype and expectations and merchandising push that I remember. I also love Richard Donner's Superman and Bryan Singer's sequel Superman Returns, Chris Nolan's Batman Begins, more so than The Dark Knight, and X Men 2 as well has something special about it.
