Design Challenge - Arnold Schwarzenegger Remakes

Live for Films

A new design challenge is now live.

As many of Arnie's films are being remade - Total Recall, Commando and Conan the Barbarian are the most recent ones to be either in production or about to be released - I thought this time the challenge could be design a poster for a remake of any Schwarzenegger movie. From Hercules in New York, Cactus Jack, Conan, Commando, The Running Man, Twins, Predator, The Terminator, Batman and Robin all the way up to his cameo in The Expendables. You can choose any of the films from the IMDB list


The prize up for grabs for two winners is a T-Shirt from Nerdoh. The 2 winners will be able to choose one of the T-Shirts based on an Arnie movie - Total Recall, Predator or Conan The Barbarian.

Imagine you are the designer assigned to put together a poster for a remake of a classic Arnold Schwarzenneger film. Not much information was included in the design brief.

The only info you have about it:

- It has the same name and basic plot of the original

You can choose the cast,genre and location of the film.

You have until Midnight GMT on Monday 28th February to get your design posted on this Forum thread

From badly drawn mayhem to super slick graphic design, all entries are welcome.

Once the competition closes all the entries will then be voted on by the Live for Film readers.

The two people with the highest number of votes will then be able to choose 1 of the Arnie related T-Shirts from Nerdoh.

The competition is open to anyone, wherever you are in the World. One entry per person.

All work is the copyright of the artist/designer, but by entering you do give permission for me to post it on the Live for Films site.

Yeah...I've seen rumblings of Amber Heard being the latest choice, but not in my universe.....

I made 2 posters for fun, but I think I'll enter Total Recall unless I change my mind.

I had literally just set a post for that poster when the email notification of your forum post came through. A nice motion poster isn't it.

I'll be getting the Arnie Remake posters on LFF today for people to vote.
