Movie Club: Info, Films, Dates + Suggestions

Of course for themed months we pick the ones relevant. As well as Tremors we need to have Deep Rising. The rest I leave up to the rest of the movie club people.

Yep one for each weekend in Feb. I think Deep Rising is enough sea bound monster mayhem for that month though (we'll save the others for a sea themed month) so we need a couple more monster pics.

Come to think of it, you're right, Phil. I didn't even notice when I posted. It would make for a pretty water-logged February.
So how about something like the Korean flick The Host, or something like that? I'm tempted to suggest the original Gojira, NOT the Americanized version Godzilla: King of Monsters.

The Host is a cool film. I'd go with that definitely. Original Godzilla would also be cool

Got an idea for another theme month: Bond. James Bond Month

Week 1: Sean Connery
Week 2: Roger Moore
Week 3: Pierce Brosnan
Week 4: Daniel Craig

If we choose a 5 weekend month (several this year), we can have a Timothy Dalton weekend, too.

And we don't necessarily have to do them in that order, we could mix them up if we wanted. Thoughts?

May and July are both 5 weekend months, so we could do one of those. And we just need to decide on which films. I'd recommend DR. NO for Sean Connery, simply because it was the first Bond film. Phil picked LIVE AND LET DIE for Roger Moore. Craig only has 2 to choose from, so someone make a pick. Any suggestions for Brosnan? What about Dalton?

As Live and Let Die was Moore's first one as Bond shall we just go with the first Bond film for each actor?

The only Bond movie i have is Goldeneye, pierce brosnan's best i think, can we put that one in?

i have updated the poster, should be showing on the previous page now. i set the dates from next week and forward. i think its the right dates hehe, might be wise to doubble check the calendar ^^
