Twin Peaks
Any other Twin Peaks fans here, one of the scariest, funniest and weirdest television shows ever made. The first season and opening hald of the second must surely ranks as some of the best television ever made, the investigation of Laura Palmer's murder by Federal Bureau of Investigation Special Agent Dale Cooper (his full title) and Sherrif Harry Truman must surely be the most game changing slice of television ever produced, by David Lynch no less. I rewatched the series in full last year for the first time in years thanks to it being (finally) released in Britain and I gotta tell you, it's still scary, weird and brilliant after all these years.
Re: Twin Peaks
I'm a massive fan. Scary, compelling, and sometimes hilarious (Duchovny in drag anyone?)
Season 2 lost its way a little once Laura's killer was revealed but the finale was fantastic. "Hows Annie!??"

Re: Twin Peaks
As a fan of The X Files as well it was quite a surprise to see Mulder in drag. Interesting note of trivia, allegedly, although I've never managed to see it myself, the prom queen photo of Laura Palmer is meant to be appear in the pilot episode of The X Files when Scully meets Mulder for the first time, but as I've said I've never managed to find it.
It's a truly great series and it's easy to feel gutted by its cancellation as the show seems to be stepping into an interesting new direction with the Evil Cooper/BOB story. I gotta tell you something though, after all these years, I still find the show quite unsettling in places, this scene in particular still scares the hell out of me.
