Percy Jackson was a hideous mess of a movie wasn't it. Treated the audience like idiots.

Clash if the Titans 2010
4,5/10

pretty bad stuffs, storywise, great artisticly tho.

It should have been an adventure film, it could have been a classic but it
became a useless hollywood action flick with no soul or heart, much like the
acting of mr. Worthington.

they should have let the people behind Solomon Kane make it, it would be a far
better and very much more interesting film. Now its almost to stupid to even
eat popcorn during.

Undisputed 2
7/10

I have begun to use Voddler, its a online movie site where you can watch
some movies for free, or pay a few bucks to rent a movie for 24 hours.
It streams it to your computer in pretty nice quality, so if you have it
hooked up to the TV, its a pretty nice deal.

So yeah, i was browsing the free movies and came across Undisputed 2..
It seemed like a mindless action fighting prison movie and i thought, hey
what the hell, it got a nice rating on imdb, so why not. And i was pleasnlty
surprised. Its actually very decent, and awesome fighting, decent story
and good actors.

So now im gonna watch the 3rd one, as people say its even better Smile

Undisputed 3
8/10

Indeed, it was better. More Bloodsport style this time around, better acting, better developed story
and overall just better stuffs. Recommend both the second and third. I skipped the first, just looking
at the actors in that one made me kringe Razz

Predators 2010

8,5/10

A sequel done right. Its great, its almost a bit to perfect, and that is prolly why i don't give it a higher score.
It doesn't take the series a step further, sure it introduces us to a new planet, and it has its own story, sort of.
But that is where it stops. I wanted to know more, i want more lore, more background, more stuff! Not
with the characters, they are greatly developed, especially for this kind of movie. I just wish they had time to
give us more intel on what has been going on there before the group we follow came there, maybe with a comic
or webisodes or something. And not just 10 years before, i mean 0-100 years before. And it is indeed a straight
up sequel from the first Predator.

Great actors, especially Walton Goggins from Justified. Great music witch seems
at times much based on the music Silvestri made for the first movie. And as far as i could tell, the music even nods
abit to the main theme of Aliens (or Wolfen <- mindexplotion!!1)

Anywho, good stuffs.

inception
7/10

great cast, good effects, terrible waste of a movie that could have been populated with bizzare
dreamscapes and mindfucks. the Hallways weightless scenes where insane tho, 5 points just for those ^^

Most grownups have no imagination, sadly that comes through quite clearly in this movie :/
Its about dreams, everything in those dreams where to realistic, not much distorted (other than no-one can aim worth shit).

And its made so everyone can have their version of it in their mind and think, hmm, that would make sense, and
most of it prolly will.

great music tho, fits the movie perfectly.

a terrible review filled with dreams and counjured words might find itself your way
when i have the time: a hint for that review is that:
Spoiler:

because that is what i want it to be ^^

Tekken (2010)
6/10

Pretty awesome, seen the story before in i think brave and the bold or justice league or somewhere,
points go down because of voiceacting, no Mark Hamill or Kevin Conroy = not really Batman and Joker.

The Expendables 8/10

Awesome action movie, don't watch it if you expect a decent story (don't think anyone who knows about it expects that), just go see it for the amazing fight scenes. the special effects were lacking
Spoiler:
.
the cast was really good especially Dolph Lundgren, really liked him, and the Schwarzenegger cameo was really great.

the Expendables
10/10

well, the reason for giving it 10. When comparing it to other movies, it prolly would have been an 8 or
around that number. But there really isn't any movies to compare it to. Not for me atleast. It has
90% of all my childhood action heroes in it, a story that fits, awesome characters that actually get
some depth and sweet locations, action and lots of explosions. It actually was better than i initially
thought it would be, and way gorier ^^. Coolest char was deff Dolph Lundgrens character and he
deserved to play it, really shows that he is a good actor, second place goes to Mickey Rourke, but
i we already know he is a great actor, Stallone gets a nice 3rd place and + for continuing to direct
awesome movies.

The Expendables - 8 / 10 Great action movie. Love the old school style. It has been getting a whole lot of love. I really enjoyed it

Avatar: Special Edition - 7/10 story - 10/10 visuals - still looks lovely and amazing. Extra bits flesh out the story a little bit and explain the floating mountains a bit.

Juno - 8 / 10 - A great movie

Robin Hood 2010
6/10

awfully dull movie, blanchett was hot tho, as usual.
i would say that, if a sequel is to be made, it would be better, because that would
be more in line of what we know of the story, this is like a prequel, and not a very
interesting one Sad

Really liked this, the action was smooth and i got some good laughs.
If you're a western fan, you can't miss the references to the older spaghetti westerns.

Machete - 7,5

I don't really know what to say about this movie, i expected some pretty unrealistic action, but nothing in the world could have prepared me for this one.
The action was awesome, the story absurd, good amount of humor and don't get me started on the women.
the reason i didn't score it higher, because i felt like the movie was being stretched at the end, and that the constant action was getting a bit too much, but that's what they were going for i think. great movie in it's genre, but not something i would watch again soon.

Notorious:

Not the godawful biopic about Chris Biggie Wallace, but the Hitchcock classic... Strangely, I've never seen it before - despite being a big Cary Grant fan.

If you haven't seen it, I would definitely recommend it... nice bit of drama with a slice of simmering romance and a very Hitch ending. Well worth your time.

Titanic II
4/10

Yeah you read right, and you most likely guessed right too,
its from Asylum films. Pretty shitty, and i think they must
have gotten hold of the model they used in James Cameron's
Titanic, because sometimes the set pieces are actually pretty
good, until the CGI takes over that is ^^

Atleast its fun Smile

The Town - 8 / 10

Ben Affleck's Heist movie has lots of the usual cliches but it is done so well and great acting by Jeremy Renner, Jon Hamm and Affleck.

The Hole in 3D - 5 / 10

Joe Dante does the same old same old. Starts off rather spooky and then pisses it all away with a super quick wrap up. The ending also seems like the ending of Drop Dead Fred with unimaginative dream world sets.

Plus the 3D is a waste of time. no need for it.

My 12 year old son loved it though and he is the target audience for it.

Monsters
8,5/10

A mix between Cloverfield and the original District 9 short Alive in Joburg
Where its almost semi-documentary but not that crazy shaky cam stuff.

They don't try to show the monsters all the time, its more omnious and they show more of the real-life situations
of people affected. And they do a awesome job of it. Clearly made on a string budget, it still delivers 10x
more feeling and believability than Cloverfield ever did.

The surroundings, the whole ravaged and war torn cityscapes, the people and atmosphere is 10/10.

the only reason i don't give it 10 is because of the main actors sometimes are not beleavable enough
and the creature design didn't really do it for me (they are still cool tho, but could have been better).
But a must see in my book.
